- Round 3 Counselling: The third round also known as the mop up round, has significantly lower cut-offs than the previous two rounds. - Step 1: The candidates must register themselves on the official website of the WBMCC via online mode. Once the registration is done, the required payment of the registration fees must be paid online.

- Step 2: Document verification is done in the next step. The candidates who are willing to take part in the Counselling process, must have all the documents required for verification. The students must report to their respective centre to complete their document verification process.
- Step 3: This is the main choice filling step. Candidates must select the name of their preferred colleges via the online portal.
- Step 4: After the choice filling process is over, the final seat allotment list will be released on the official website of WBMCC. Following this, candidates will be allocated their respective colleges.
- Step 5: The students after receiving the seat allotment result, must report to the institute at the right time and date. Candidates can be rejected from the last round of counselling process if they fail to report on the mentioned date and time for the first round of counselling.
