Countdown Begins: NEET 2025 exam date Confirmed for 4th May
On February 7th, 2025, the NEET 2025 application was released with the information bulletin and other notifications. The NEET 2025 registration portal faced maintenance-related unavailability for several days during this period. Students reported facing technical problems when they attempted to fill in the NEET application form for 2025.
The NEET 2025 Examination is on May 4th, 2025. NTA has announced all vital dates for NEET 2025 including the release schedule of NEET 2025 answer keys. The NEET 2025 applications will close at 11:50 PM on March 7, 2025.
Students can access the NEET 2025 application correction window from March 9 to March 11, 2025. The NEET 2025 city intimation slip will become available by April 26, 2025, while the NEET 2025 admit card will be released by May 1, 2025.
NEET 2025 exam pattern has undergone several modifications to return to the pre-COVID examination format. The optional questions from section B have been reduced and the total number of questions in NEET 2025 will be 180. The NEET 2025 exam duration has shrunk from 200 to 180 minutes. The NEET 2025 exam duration is being shortened to three hours instead of the previous 3 hours and 20 minutes. The marking structure for NEET 2025 examinations is expected to remain the same as the previous years.
Is APAAR ID mandatory?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced through a notification that NEET UG 2025 will happen in a pen and paper-based (offline) format in a single shift and on a single day. The NTA expert committee's suggestion to conduct the NEET UG 2025 exam in computer-based or hybrid mode and in multiple phases has been officially canceled.
This year APAAR ID has been implemented as the new system for managing both the examination and registration procedures for the exam. Candidates must align their Class 10 mark sheet and pass certificate with their Aadhaar details to guarantee both transparency and efficiency in the process. NTA has officially instructed all candidates to update their Aadhar data according to their 10th Marksheet/Passing Certificate information. Check that your Aadhar is linked with a valid mobile number for OTP-based authentication. The National Testing Agency released a notice stating that APAAR ID is not mandatory.

Neet 2025 Updated Exam Pattern
The format of the NEET examination has been modified to the pre-covid format. The upcoming NEET 2025 exam follows a pen and paper-based format (PBT) and has a time duration of three hours. The exam paper will contain 180 multiple-choice questions distributed across three subjects, 45 questions from Physics,45 questions from Chemistry, and 90 questions from Biology. Candidates must attempt all 180 questions which are marked as compulsory. All the multiple-choice questions will have four options provided. Candidates must mark their chosen answer by filling in the relevant circle in the OMR sheet with the blue/black ballpoint pen provided by the NEET exam center.

NEET 2025 Result Declaration
The results for the NEET 2025 examination will be released online by June 14, 2025. NTA will release the NEET 2025 results through both scorecards and merit lists. You can find the procedure to download the NEET 2025 scorecard below.

- Type in your NEET 2025 Application Number along with your Date of Birth and select either Email Address or Mobile Number and Security Pin.
